Cap Anson Mounted Vaudeville Photo from Anson Family

Cap Anson Mounted Vaudeville Photo from Anson Family

Cap Anson was a professional baseball player for the National Association and Major League Baseball. He played in a record twenty-seven consecutive seasons. Cap Anson is dressed in a tux for the picture. "Rembrandt Chicago" is on the lower left corner of photo. Photo mounted to cardboard with printed frame around photo. Cardboard slightly torn in left upper corner and worn with age but holds photo well. Faint stripe across the lower portion of his face on the photo but it is barely visible, and doesn't detract from the overall quality of the photo. Looks great and is in excellent condition.
