Vintage 6.5 x 8.25'' news service photo by Underwood and Underwood of Christy Mathewson wearing the black Giants Uniform before the first game of the 1905 World Series. Original caption sheet on the back notes that Underwood was the photographer and the significance of when the photo was taken. Three of the corners have a chip and there is a light crease in the lower right corner. Otherwise fine.
