Circa 1911 Joe Jackson Real Photo Postcard (3.5x5.5")
One of the few existing images of this long gone Chicago White Sox great, banished for life in 1920. Joe Jackson shown doing one of the things he did best - scoring. A fabulous image, Shoeless Joe looks like he is flying across home plate at League Park, neither of his feet touching the ground, while Detroit Tigers catcher, Oscar Stanage fields the late throw. Postcard photo in great contrast and fabulous condition. Slight toning and some light paper loss to top edge, o/w EX.
