Circa 1914 Federal League Bat

Circa 1914 Federal League Bat

Despite being short-lived, the Federal League had a major impact on Major League Baseball during its three years of existence in the early 1910s. This 33.5", 36 oz. stick sports a very dark grain, with a center brand stating "The Victor Federal League Special Model No. 59" and "Double Oil Tempered" stamped on the barrel. Victor was the equipment supplier to the Federal League, including the baseballs that were used in the games. There is a handle crack that has been repaired, and the bat is in VG condition displaying fine use.
