This curiosity dates from circa 1918-27, and most likely represents the Syracuse Stars of the International League. In beautiful overall condition, it has a cadet collar on the top and unusual metal buttons on the pants. Victor Wright & Ditson labeling dates narrows it to the aforementioned time frame, and the uniform is too high-quality for high school and not the colors of any area colleges. Felt letters "SYRACUSE" are individually sewn across the front of the button top, and there is no number on back. It bears very minor stains and shows great use, yet remains in superlative condition considering the age, with no visible tears or repairs.
