Marvelous 1921 still of a typically impish and still impressionable Babe engaged in a "competition" at the Polo Grounds pitting the World's Greatest Slugger against the World's Greatest Fisherman, bat to reel. Great image of Ruth in the Yankee uniform of the era, the "NY" on a white pinstriped cap. 6 x 8" photo has the stamp of the Culver news service on the back. VG-EX with light overall wear and a few black markings on the lower border.
