Circa 1928 Babe Ruth Signature (PSA NM-MT 8 Auto)
Over a century after the trade that saw George Herman Ruth move from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees - changing baseball history forever - the legend of The Bambino is as strong as ever. As time marches on, authentic Babe items will become harder to come by, and this tremendous cut signature is an outstanding high-grade offering worthy of attention. Signature is in black pen on a cut measuring 3x1.25" with the inscription "From" above Ruth's easily-recognizable handiwork. The back is blank except for some lettering that was sliced in half to create this cut (ironically, the cut-off word appears to be "Half"). Encapsulated by PSA/DNA with and exceptional NM-MT 8 grade, examples like this are rightfully a prize to collectors.
