Circa 1932 Babe Ruth "Double" Signed Baseball (PSA)

Displayed is an Official American League (Harridge) baseball signed by Babe Ruth in the mid-1930s, at the tail end of his career. 1934 was Ruth's final season with the New York Yankees, and the Bambino batted .288, and hit 22 home runs with 84 RBIs that season, not bad numbers for a mere mortal, but an off-season for Ruth. The Babe played his final season in 1935, with the National League Boston Braves. Ruth was hoping to eventually manage the Braves, but, in limited action, he was hitting only .181 with six homers and 12 RBIs, and he retired during the season. The offered item is a beautiful Official American League (Harridge) ball. It is inscribed to "Pal George." Given that Ruth's real first name is George, the inscription makes the "George" a second signature. Overall, the ball is in excellent condition, and the signature rates around a 7/10. The ball comes with a PSA Letter of Authenticity.
