Circa 1951 San Juan Senators Game Worn Uniform - The NY Yankees of Puerto Rico

Founded in 1938, the Senadores de San Juan (San Juan Senators) were a fixture in professional baseball in Puerto Rico, winning a total of eight league championships. Offered is a circa 1951 flannel San Juan Senadores game worn jersey with number "33" on back and "Senadores" nameplate on front. Inside the neck is handwritten "Mac" in black marker, with an assumed but illegible last name as well. There is an All Stars Uniforms tag in the neck with size "44" tag as well. Pants have size "34" tag with a few handwritten names, most legible being "Clarke" in thick black marker. Shows great use with some dirt stains but both pieces remain in surprisingly good shape with only a small hole on the front of the jersey and no evident tears or repairs.
