The 1975-76 season proved to be the only season in which Butch Deadmarsh played a full professional season with the same team. As a member of the WHA's Calgary Cowboys, he suited up for 79 games, scoring 26 goals and 28 assists for 54 points and racked up 196 penalty minutes. After another half a season in Calgary, Deadmarsh moved on to the Minnesota Fighting Saints. His home, white jersey offered here has the large cowboy hat crest affixed to the front with his alternate captain’s ‘A’ on the left chest. Maska and Men XL 48 tagging in the collar. Large 8” repair job to the left of the crest running vertically with material reinforcement on the inside. Stick marks across the front with puckering to the crest from washings and a dark stick marks and scrape across the front of the cowboy hat. Another team repair below the alternate captain’s ‘A’. Four repairs on the back of the right sleeve. Green paint transfer below the cowboy hat logo on the right shoulder. Red paint transfer between the right sleeve numbers. dark stick slashes on the left sleeve front and back. Three repairs on the left sleeve with un-repaired holes, scuffing and broken stitching. Two repairs on the back – one below the number five about 7" and one to the lower right of the number 5. Very small loop style fight strap. Various un-repaired holes and marks across the back. “DEADMARSH” chain-stitched onto a white twill nameplate. Another nameplate was present before the Deadmarsh – a little longer creating un-repaired holes at the ends.
