Circa 2002-03 Mario Lemieux Game Worn Gloves
As both a player and a team owner, Mario Lemieux proved himself a hockey legend. These gloves, a pair of black Nike Quests with white trim, were worn in action by Super Mario himself, with lots of great use and play wear on the leather palms. The outsides have some wonderful burns and board paint, and the insides show nice pilling. "M. LEMIEUX 66" is embroidered on each wrist cuff in white stitching, a number that's been used by no player since. Shake the hands of one of hockey's all-time greats with this marvelous piece of hockey lore.
