Collection of 9 Team Signed Baseballs including 4 New York Yankees Baseballs
Great collection of nine signed baseballs; four are Official American League balls and three are Official National League (Giles) baseballs. The collection includes a 1957 St. Louis Cardinals signed ball with 26 signatures including Stan Musial, Wally Moon and Ken Boyer; a 1957 Chicago Cubs signed ball with 25 signatures including Ernie Banks; a Jim Maloney signed ball from his April 30, 1969 no hitter against the Houston Astros; a 1969 Oakland A's signed ball with 30 signatures including coach Joe DiMaggio on the sweet spot and a 1957 Boston Red Sox signed ball with 25 signatures including Ted Williams on the sweet spot. There are also four New York Yankees team signed balls. The 1953 ball has over 25 signatures including Casey Stengel but the signatures are smeared and the ball has taken on a blue hue from the smeared ink. There is also a 1955 Yankees baseball with 25 signatures including Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra and a clubhouse Mickey Mantle; the ball has a light coating of shellac and three brown stains. A 1956 Yankees team signed baseball has over 30 signatures (some clubhouse) including Yogi Berra and Hank Bauer, and a 1991 Yankees ball has over 20 signatures including Don Mattingly and Al Leiter. Terrific lot with literally hundreds of signatures.
