1950s Vintage Signed Photographs with Mays, Larsen and Stengel
Three vintage photographs signed by three baseball icons are included in this lot. FIrst is a 5 x 8" portrait of the Say Hey Kid himself, Willie Mays. Stamped Mar. 5, 1956 on the back, this photo is inscribed "Best Wishes Willie Mays." Next is an undated circa 1950s portrait of Casey Stengel in his Yankees cap measuring 9 x 7" and signed in blue ballpoint. Finally, there is a 9 x 6" photograph of Don Larsen finishing his perfect game with the scoreboard showing two strikes and two outs in the ninth inning in the background. Larsen's signature is slightly faded and grades a 5; the other signatures are excellent.
