Collection of Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves Caps (10)
The Braves baseball franchise has had a somewhat vagabond history, having called Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta home over the years. This fine collection of caps nicely encompasses all the incarnations from the 1930s right up to 2000. The oldest hats - from the Boston years - include a 1930s Spalding model with "Wm. Southworth" written on the bank inside and worn by outfielder Billy Southworth; as well as a 1940s cap with replaced leather band inside. From the Milwaukee era, there's a 1950s cap by Wilson showing no use and a leather band inside. There's also a late 1950s model with a white vinyl band inside and "1" written under the brim. And from the most recent Atlanta period, check out the black, late 1960s cap by Wilson which shows no use. In addition, there's a mid-1960s by Wilson with a red brim, an early-to-mid-1970s cap by KM Pro showing no use but is signed under the brim by Hank Aaron. There are also mid-1980s home and road models by New Era and a late 1980s model by New Era
