Dit Clapper's 1929 Stanley Cup Championship Worn Skates

Offered are the boots & blades worn by Audrey Clapper as he and his bench mates captured their first Stanley Cup Championship. Black leather size 9 CCM uppers with CCM Cyco blades. Inside are “Wilkie’s Sure-Hold” ankle supports with 1929 patent date stamps. Each boot bottom is stamped, “Brown’s Sports - Toronto” (longtime NHL supplier). Until recently, this pair has been in the possession of a single owner, a member of the late Dit Clapper’s family who has included his LOA. Before that, these skates used to be on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. Included is the descriptive plaque from Clapper’s Hall of Fame display.
