Early Harvard Style Football Helmet
A beauty from the early years of tackle football, this helmet originates from the 1910s-20s. The dark leather design is one piece with cutout ear holes and original chinstrap, a very rare style. The interior is also dark leather, with padding - such as it is - sewn between the two layers. There is slight cracking of the leather in spots but that is to be expected considering its intended use, this superb specimen rates in near EX condition.
