Early Princeton Style Football Helmet with Scalloped Top
A throwback to the first quarter of the 20th century, this vintage helmet is a very rare style. It shows use and some of the stitches are loose but it still displays great. Though the chin strap is missing, the leather that covers the top of the head is cut in a scalloped pattern around the edges, giving this style a distinctive look. As is consistent with the style, there is little padding, a sign of a very different era in football history.
