Ed Johnston Game Worn Goalie Equipment Collection
Amazing! Boston Bruins fan-favorite netminder Ed Johnston's full kit circa the early Sixties. Best is the ancient set of dark brown Kenesky goal pads. Kenesky was the pinnacle in goalie equipment back in the day. Also included: battered pair of leather CCM skates, each marked "Johnston", pro Kenesky belly pad, custom set of arm pads, Winnwell catching glove and blocker, Victoriaville Pro game used goal stick, fully taped and stamped "Johnston" and an old pair of black goal pants with Bruins supplier Jim McCarthy label inside (size 38).
