Exceptional Lou Gehrig Signed Photograph (JSA)
Photo of Gehrig in dugout holding bat. Measures 8x10". Signed "To Danny, With Kindest Regards, Lou Gehrig." This captures the "Iron Man" in his prime. Note the Hall of Fame slugger's muscles in his right forearm and the strong legs, ones that propelled him through the line as he ran the ball as a Columbia University running back. Also notice how the bats are displayed in a line near the dugout as this was in the days before bat racks. 8/10 signature in blue/black ink from fountain pen. Minor creasing on edges with one crease towards right side of photo, otherwise EX. Tiny pinhole on top border. JSA LOA.
