Football Coach and Notre Dame Star Tom Dorais Photographs (10)
This collection of (10) 7 x 9” and 8 x 10” wire photographs features College and Professional football coach Charles “Gus” Dorais. Dorais gained notoriety as a player for Notre Dame during the same time his teammate Knute Rockne ruled the ranks of college football. The photographs date from the 1930’s up until his death in 1954 and chronicles his days as the coach for the University of Detroit’s football team and later as the coach for the Detroit Lions. The condition of the images ranges from VG to EX due to some minor wrinkling and creasing. The photographs have the original news clippings attached to the verso.
