This Franklin Mint limited edition set is mint! The 1972-74 Pro Football Hall of Famers are preserved on these 50 minted, sparkling sterling silver mini-coins. Each is clearly engraved with a pro player's full name and unique image. Players represented in this collection were "chosen for medallic commemoration by the Senior Selection Committee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame" as explained in an included typed letter signed by VP of Collector Relations, William F. Kreig. The unopened "personal copy of the reference book written by the famed Pulitzer Price-winning sports columnist Arthur Daly" is included as is the protective display case with front description.
