Fat Freddie Fitzsimmons, knuckleballer for the NY Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers, is the subject of this collection of (11) wire photos. He is shown in the 1940's, successful late in his pitching career, and during his ill-fated stint managing the Phillies. Some really nice images here. Photos are front captioned or have caption sheets affixed to versos. Condition ranges from VG to MT, with many on the better end. Sizes range from 6.5 x 8.5" to 8 x 11".
