George Ferguson Pittsburgh Penguins Game Used Lot (3)
Durable center George Ferguson's most productive NHL seasons were with the Pens from 1978-83, notching 20+ goals 4 straight times. Two of these jerseys covered his back in '78-79, the other in '82-83 -- the former being the rare "blue" jerseys worn for only 2 seasons before the Pens began wearing the black and gold. One is a home white with blue piping, the other a road blue with white and powder blue piping. Former has logo on front, "Ferguson" and "11" on back in purple and "11" on sleeves in white, all in tackle twill; latter has logo on front, "Ferguson" on back in white, "11" on back in white on blue and on both sleeves in navy on blue, all in tackle twill. The '82-83 jersey is the more familiar black with gold piping with screened-on logo and back and sleeve numbers in gold on white, and "Ferguson" on back in gold on white tackle twill. All are mesh jerseys with fight straps intact, '78-79's with "Stall & Dean" tags in collar with "52" and "8" flag tags (the latter denoting the decade year), '82-83 with "SK" tag in collar with washing instructions tag. All jerseys have good use, heaviest on the '78-79 road shirt which has several team repairs.
