Superb set of vintage photographs, all boasting incredible signatures from baseball’s innovator of the slider, George Uhle. Most are dated, and all notations are in the hand of Uhle. Signatures in black fountain ink grade mostly 9-10 out of a possible 10! Added notations are as follows: “NY Yankees 1933 & 1934,” Best Wishes Cleveland Indians, 1919-1928, 1936-1937 Coach,” “Detroit Tigers, 1929-1933” [on 5 photos], “New York Giants 1933,” “Cleveland Indians Coach, 1936 & 1937” [on 3], “Best Wishes” on one. Only one photo is signed with just his name. Sizes range from 6x8” to 8x10”. VG-EX to EX - all signatures display beautifully with no flaws or damage.
