Signature in black fountain pen is a 10 out of a possible 10: “Best Wishes To My Good Friend Larry Doyle From, Babe Ruth”. “Laughing Larry” Doyle began his Major League career with the NY Giants in 1907 (managed by HOFer, John McGraw) and helped them to 3 straight pennants (1911-1913). His famous quote, “It’s great to be young and a Giant” is a testament to his enthusiasm and love for the game. Photo was obtained many years ago from the Doyle family.
