Group Of Three Babe Ruth Vintage Photographs

Group Of Three Babe Ruth Vintage Photographs

Big or small, the Babe just knows how to swing a stick. In the first of two photos from 1928 (8 x 10"), he leads the boys band of St. Mary's Industrial School of Baltimore, his alma mater. Original paper caption, International Newsreel stamp, VG-EX. The second, a 6 x 8", captures him right after one of his classic cuts. Stamped caption on reverse, EX. The final specimen from 1935, has Ruth shaking hands with Jack Warhop, the man who pitched him his first big-league home run ball. Press stamping and original clipping on the reverse, VG-EX. 7 x 9".
