Hall of Famers at Toots Shor's Signed Photograph
It's one of the greatest gatherings of baseball talent under one roof, and this very famous 11" x 14" photo picturing numerous Hall of Famers belonged to Mickey Cochrane. The all-star gathering took place in the early 1950s at Toots Shor's restaurant in Manhattan, where celebrities would go to be seen. The photo features the signatures of nine Hall of Famers and Bernard "Toots" Shor, the famed proprietor. Among the elite players whose signatures appear in ink are Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx, Charlie Gehringer, Cy Young, Rogers Hornsby, Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Fred Clarke and George Sisler. The signatures average 7/10 with a few smudges. The photo has some creasing and is in VG condition.
