165 artist’s prints of Jimi Hendrix from the photographer Joe Sia’s personal files, the majority are stamped and/or numbered on verso. All are performance photos from different concerts during the period of 1968 thru 1970. The shows include: Bridgeport August 26, 1968, Woolsey Hall Nov. 17, 1968, Atlanta Pop July 4, 1970, Randall’s Island July 17, 1970 and other dates which aren’t documented in the file. This is the most interesting of the photo archives because of experimentation with color, psychedelic effects and size. Thirteen of the photographs measure 16x20” (twelve are black & white one is color). There are nine psychedelic color that measure 11x14” and ten black & white. Also includes sixteen color 9x11” (approx.) There is much duplication, but there are still so many different images. Although there are several printed in the 1970s, most were printed in the 1980s and the 1990s. Condition is NRMT to MINT.
