These classic Type I photos depict the start of the recreational sports boom at the turn of the last century. 1) Sporting goods can be seen in the front window display as this circa 1900 Horace Partridge mounted photo, which shows the main storefront of Wilson Sporting Goods with employees. 2) From the Baseball Magazine archives with hologram, it is in EX-MT condition with one crease at bottom left corner mount, and is a WWI era shot of Thomas Wilson with store manager, golfer and soldier. It originates from the main store in NYC with advertising displays visible in the store window. Wire photo measures 9.75x8" and mounted 5.5x8.5".
