Imperial Cabinet Of Football Player Killed In Game (8.5"x12.5")
At first glance this offering simply appears to be just a real nice piece of football memorabilia dating from a simpler era in the 19th century. However, pencil writing on the back indicates "Framed on Saturday Nov. 11 1893 by P.B. Cosgrove, the date of the death of Mr. Hugh Saussa member of this team who was killed during the game''. Culver Pictures stamp also on the reverse. The thirteen members of this young team are dressed in Union suits and all can be seen here with perfect clarity. Measures 8.5"x12.5", EX-MT.
