Jesse Haines Signed St Louis Cardinals Contracts (3)
Three of Jesse Haines' Player Contracts from his many years in St. Louis. Each is the Hall of Famer's personal copy of his agreement. 1933 called for him to be paid $8500.00. In both <b>1934</b> and 1935, he was to make $6500.00. In the World Championship season of 1934, Haines had an incentive clause regarding attendance at Sportsman's Park. If they reached 500,000, he was to get an extra $500.00 pay (they didn't). All three are signed by Haines and Branch Rickey in dark fountain pen. Normal mailing folds, otherwise Excellent condition overall.
