JFK Birthday Program Signed By Marilyn Monroe and Others
An iconic moment in American History was Marilyn Monroe seductively singing "Happy Birthday" to President John F Kennedy at Madison Square Garden. Offered here is the program from that timeless night in 1962 and it is signed boldly by Marilyn Monroe near the photo of President Kennedy, whose 45th birthday was actually 10 days later. Additional signatures found on the program include Harry Belafonte, Jack Benny, Maria Callas, Jack Benny, Shirley MacLaine and others. Alongside the signed program cover, there is a schedule page and a descriptive insert about the lot. The entire framed item measures 25.5" x 14.5" and there are additional credit sheets and a newspaper column affixed to the back. There is a vertical crease running up the center but otherwise rates EX and is framed. Signature strength averages 8 out of 10. The Garden event was a Democratic fundraiser attended by roughly 15,000 supporters. Monroe tragically died less than three months later, while JFK was assassinated a year-and-a-half after this happier time in American history. Comes with a PSA LOA.
