Jim Ray Hart San Francisco Giants Baseball Photos (26)

Jim Ray Hart was a San Francisco Giants baseball fan favorite and in 1970 accomplished the rare feat of "hitting for the cycle". Here are photos from earlier in his career, along with coverage of a broken shoulder blade caused by HOF pitcher Bob Gibson during Hart's first big league appearance in 1963. Plenty of game action and head shots included in images dating from 1963 to 1969. Most are SF Examiner staff photos with original news clippings affixed to versos as well as a few front caption wire photos . Condition ranges from VG to NM. Measure 3 3/4 x 7" to 8 x 12 1/2".
