Jim Rowe's Baseball Card Collection (50,000 + cards)
Massive collection of approximately 50,000 cards. Jim was not as big a card collector as he was a photo collector but he still liked the cards, especially the "collectors sets" from the 1960s through the 1980s. The first part of the collection is material mainly from the 1960s and 1970s, consisting of many collectors sets, regionals, inserts and single cards with the likes of TCMA, SSPC, Shakeys Pizza, Diamond Greats, 1972 American Caramel Reissues, Classic Cards, East Hill Pirates, R.D. Parker, SCFC, Cubs All Time Greats by Brace, Sports Hobbyist Famous Card Series by Nagy, Jim Rowes Own Photo Finisher's series, Topps poster inserts, 1964 Topps Giants and regular issue Topps cards from the 1960s through the 1980s. The second part of the collection is more modern material, up to and including 1990 with some some gaps but close to complete runs. Sets are both factory and hand collated and there is some duplication. Included are Topps regular issue sets spaning the years from 1977-1990 and traded sets from 1981-1990; Fleer regular sets from 1981-1990 and updates from 1986-1990. Also, lots of Fleer vending from 1981, some from 1983 and unopened wax from 1982; Upper Deck 1989 and 1990 factory sets; Donruss regular sets from 1981-1990; Score factory sets from 1989 and 1990; Bowman factory sets from 1990. This by no means an entire listing of what is in the collection, please call for complete inventory. Great breakup value! Condition is mainly EX or better throughout.
