The closest we came to a King and a Queen here in America may have been in the 1950's when we had Joe and Marilyn. Four photos from when they were our royalty. Joe kissing Marilyn goodbye at Miami International Airport. The two of them posed as happy as can be, despite rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. The couple arriving at SF International Airport with Marilyn sporting a splint on her thumb. The final photo in the group has Marilyn and the great Ella Fitzgerald (no Joe) soon after Marilyn and Joe's breakup. Publishing marks, otherwise EX+. All photos are 7-1/2 x 10".
