Focus of the painting is Joe Montana, set back to throw the football as his offensive line collides with the Cincinnati Bengals defense. The 49ers’ 26-21 victory over the Bengals marked the beginning of “Montana Magic” as well as a legendary Hall of Fame football career for Joe. The Bengals and the 49ers colors and uniforms are clearly visible in this kaleidoscope of paints. Signed in pencil by artist, LeRoy Nieman in lower right corner.
