John Wayne Gacy Jacket & Wallet with License, Social Security Card & More

Not many people who knew him would have suspected that John Wayne Gacy, a respected member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Des Plaines, Ill., a performing clown at neighborhood children's parties, a precinct captain in the local Democratic party, and the owner of his own contracting business would come to be known as one of the most prolific serial killers in U.S. history. Offered are two of Gacy's very personal items, both of which may very well have been present during one or more of his horrific crimes. His black leather wallet is filled with thirty-one individual items, all dated prior to his arrest in 1979, twelve of which are signed by him in either blue or black ballpoint ink, including his: 1) Illinois State Drivers License (signed) 2) Social Security card (signed) 3) Selective Service Military Registration Certificate (signed twice) 4) Loyal Order of Moose membership cards (3 total -two signed) 5) Visa Card (signed) 6) Master Card (signed) 7) "John Gacy-Democratic Precinct Captain" business card 8) Voter Registration card 9) "Sal L. Amirante-Attorney" business card with notes and phone numbers written in Gacy's hand. (Amirante was one of his defense lawyers during his murder trial 10) Paper drink coaster written with the address of friend James VanVorous 11) Playboy Club Executive Key card and much, much more. His black faux leather jacket, manufactured by Poplar Ind (size XL), shows considerable wear and has one small tear to the left shoulder.
