Late 19th Century Catcher's Mask with Sun Visor

Late 19th Century Catcher's Mask with Sun Visor

A beauty dating to the late 19th century, this catcher's mask is in remarkably good condition. The spider-style mask has all-original padding and straps, and as a bonus, this issue has the hard-to-find "sun visor" strip, which extends from the forehead strap, is made of the same leather as the padding and is all intact. Rawhide laces hold the pads to the frame, and it shows use consistent with its age, with Victor manufacturer's stamp light, but visible, on the chin piece.
