Light Fixtures and Box of Documents From Honus Wagner's House

Light Fixtures and Box of Documents From Honus Wagner's House

One crystal chandelier that was recently removed from the home that Honus Wagner built for his retirement at 605 Beechwood Ave in Carnegie, PA. The beautiful fixture was there since Wagner built the house in 1917-18. Some of the crystal is broken or cracked but could be replaced. Four ornate brass wall light fixtures are also included and have also been in the home since 1917-18. Included is a box (wooden Winchester ammunition crate) of documents found in the house. Most of the documents are receipts for the cost of building the home. Amidst the documents is a banking envelope with a completed register the follows the flow of money for the duration of the construction. A great opportunity to add a piece of history to your home. The house from which these items came is also up for auction at Leland’s, so if one piece isn’t enough, buy the whole thing.
