Sensational signed oversized photo of The Babe in Yankee pinstripes and cap is an artful close up, displaying fabulous ink signature and inscription from his wife on the lower right corner: "To Larry Best Wishes Always, Sincerely, Mrs. Babe Ruth, Aug. 28, 1961." The date marks an important time in baseball history, penned in the year the Sultan's sacred home run record was broken by Roger Maris. Ink grades near perfect "10" out of a possible 10. Near Mint photo has the raised cartouche in lower corner, "Bob Loewenthal Photographer", matted to 13.5x10.75" and still in its original frame (17.5x15").
