Marilyn Monroe Sing

Marilyn Monroe Sing "Happy Birthday Mr. President" Handbill

The most famous rendition of the classic "Happy Birthday" song was arguably delivered by America's greatest sex symbol to one of the most popular U.S. presidents in the world's most famous arena. This is the only specimen known to exist of this rare handbill advertising: "New York's Birthday Salute to President Kennedy." This is the world-famous event in which Marilyn Monroe squeezed into the rhinestone-studded Jean Louis dress and sang "Happy birthday, Mr. President." She is advertised on the bill among many other A-list celebrities such as Jack Benny, Danny Kaye, Maria Callas, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Henry Fonda, Ella Fitzgerald and Jimmy Durante. It was a complete surprise that Monroe would steal the show. Measures 9" x 6" and is in EX-MT condition.
