This exceptional Type I photo came from the family of Martin Dihigo and is blessed with his handwriting on the front. It pictures a dapper Dihigo in civvies with the Pasquel brothers, Jorge & Bernardo, the infamous pair who famously wooed major leaguers to play in the Mexican Leagues. They are in Veracruz, Mexico, in 1945, during this golden era of baseball. Local photographer’s stamp on verso. Measures 3.5x5.5”.
