Mid-to-Late 1980's Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins Practice Worn Jersey

Mid-to-Late 1980's Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins Practice Worn Jersey

A superb trophy of one of the best hockey players to ever shred ice in the NHL. Mario Lemieux suffered from several crippling medical issues while he played for the Pittsburgh Penguins but still went on to be named MVP three times, lead the league in scoring six times and became a part owner of the Penguins when he saved them from a 1999 bankruptcy. This jersey shows major use from a season of practice, pilled with stick marks and small rips all over. The CCM tag on the right tail is intact but the collar tag is worn down though a small "66" is visible in marker above it. The Penguins crest is screened on the front of the white jersey.
