Negro League Baseball Players Association Signed Sheet and Photo
Some of the greatest Negro League players graced the NLBPA sheet at a 1990 reunion, including Buck Leonard, Piper Davis, Leon Day, Artie Wilson, Wilmer Fields, Bill Wright, Monte Irvin, Quincey Trouppe and Double Duty Radcliff. There are 49 signatures in all, averaging 9/10 in differing colors of Sharpie. The modern print of the Memphis Red Sox is signed by Joe B. Scott, who just died at age 92, exactly 50 years after batting .714 in 58 games during a 1942 season shortened by World War II. It measures 22" x 18" including frame. A photo copy of a team photo signed by Scott is also included.
