A fabulous set of original and vintage 1950’s black & white photos from the personal collection of the Chicago White Sox Hall of Fame second bagger, Nellie Fox. Varying in size from 5x7” to 8x10”, many wire photos, consisting of mostly action shots in Comiskey Park. Includes numerous double plays in the making, Mickey Mantle sliding safely into 2nd base, Fox & Busby doing ad for “National Bohemian” beer, great photo of Fox with Minnie Minoso in suits, & two of Fox accepting Gold Glove award (1957). Photos are mostly EX-MT, with a few that qualify as VG-EX.
