Massive lot of seven game programs ('37 USC/ND, '37 Navy/ND, '34 Ohio St/ND (FR), '38 Northwestern/ND, '38 Minnesota/ND, and two others from the 60s), 16 ticket stubs (all from the 1930s and countless newspaper clippings, playbills, glee concert handbills and commencement rosters not only wake up the echoes cheering her name, but they offer a glimpse into life on the South Bend campus. They were the years of Coach Elmer Layden, one of the original Four Horsemen. A ticket to a 1935 game cost $2. Fabulous artwork on the programs highlight the collection, with special nods to the three-leaf clover highlight panel of Rockne and other images for a 1935 game against Ohio State, and a white Trojan horse striding over a leather helmet for a Notre Dame-Southern Cal tilt in 1937.
