October 11, 1966 Boston Bruins Program - Bobby Orr's First Appearance at Boston Garden
Fine find, from before Orr was number 4. First ever time that Bobby Orr appeared in a program at the Boston Garden. He did not play this day because of a sore shoulder, and the Bruins lost to the Rangers 3-1 in this pre-season game. Nonetheless, Orr is listed as number 27. This 1966-67 season was Hall of Famer Orr's rookie NHL season, and the 18-year-old defenseman scored 13 goals and had 28 assists for 41 points, winning the Calder Trophy as the NHL's best rookie. Program is Very Good condition with no writing or scoring. Very rare.
