Paul Pettit was the highest paid major leaguer in 1951. Referred to as the "$100,000 Bonus Baby" this photo lot (12) from the archives of the SF Examiner includes images of him at Narbonne H.S. in California as well as for the Pittsburgh Pirates. One shot shows him sitting on the Pirate bench next to Honus Wagner in 1951. Sizes are mostly 7 1/4" x 10" and average EX plus condition.
