Pen Used to Sign the Contract for the Legendary 1892 Sullivan-Corbett Fight from "The Ring" Archive
Gentleman Jim used this unusual pen to sign the contract for his momentous bout against the great John L. Sullivan on September 7, 1892. Contract was signed on August 12th of that year. Corbett knocked him out to become the first champ of the gloved era. With rock solid provenance, this 10k gold pen was in the possession of Ring Magazine since 1936. In Execellent Condition. Comes with LOA from Ring Magazine.
