Personal Football Trophy Presented To Coach John Heisman
Yeah, yeah, everyone has heard of the Heisman Trophy, but how about actually owning Heisman's trophy? This is a smaller version of an award that was presented to John Heisman during his tenure as Rice head coach as referenced in the 1925 university yearbook. This 9-oz trophy is made of silver-like metal and stands 4" tall. The football is inscribed: "John W. Heisman Coach" and the base is adorned with a raised wreath with "24-25" in the middle. The bottom is inscribed with "V9352 Wallace Bros Silver Co". This was received directly from a family descendant.
